ABOUT US

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Ukudla Isizwe is a non-profit company, specialising in small scale vegetable tunnel projects nationwide, with easily accessible support structures.

Our aim is to enable disadvantaged communities to start feeding themselves, to become self-sustainable and become entrepreneurs. This goal is achieved by supplying the opportunity , business knowledge and material to start their own business of growing and selling vegetables.

In the process, helping beneficiaries to create employment opportunities and earning a living from feeding themselves and the community. Enabling new “subsistence farmers” with these tunnels, we can help them to be successful in their farming from the beginning – giving them immediate hope & motivation, but also providing food security for that region where they start farming.

MISSION STATEMENT
